What can I expect during my first visit to Morning Star COGIC?
You will be welcomed with open arms. Morning Star is excited to have you visit our church, and join us in praising the Lord. We love to worship and praise the Lord. Music plays a big role in our services, and in how we praise God. Our hope is that you leave church feeling better than you did coming in.
Do I have to dress up at Morning Star?
We encourage you to come as you are, because at Morning Star, all are welcome. We believe God judges a person by their character and heart, and not based on material matters. We want you to feel comfortable and at home while you fellowship with us.
Why should I attend a Morning Star event or service?
We know you have many options to create community in Oakland. Our mission is to welcome individuals from all cultures and backgrounds. We are a small church, but we are looking forward to growing our community and growing in beautiful ways.
